This Saturday, 11th January at 7 pm, the cultural year of Santa Eulària des Riu kicks off at the Teatro España with the performance Chelo y Pasión. The Ibizan duo GipsyCor, made up of two dancers with a long artistic career, arrives with a new show that fuses and reinterprets gypsy dances from all over the world. This project, which draws from ancestral traditions, invites the audience to experience a unique journey that ranges from subtle Persian dances to the hypnotic Sufi dance, passing through the vibrant energy of Balkan dances. The show also incorporates elements of contemporary dance, thanks to the participation of promising young Ibizan dancers such as Sasha García, who brings a fresh and innovative style.
The musician Carlos Vesperinas will add the musical touch with his talent and sensitivity, creating a magical atmosphere that will leave no one indifferent. Tickets are priced at 6€ plus booking fee at www.bacantix.com and at the box office for 8€. Children under the age of 12 will benefit from a 50% discount.
